FAA Grant Awarded to Northeast Ohio Regional Airport
On September 16, 2015 the Ashtabula County Airport Authority / Northeast Ohio Regional Airport was awarded a FAA Grant in the amount of $903,418.00. This grant will be used for the costs associated with the relocation of a natural gas line, property acquisition, design of the Runway 9-27 reconstruction/extension, Phase II grading improvements and engineering administration.
The 10% Local Match of $100,380.00 will be funded from the Ashtabula County Aviation Capital Expenditures Trust managed by The Cleveland Foundation.
This grant is the result of a tremendous effort by individuals who expended their time, talent and support. The Ashtabula County Airport Authority is sincerely grateful to those who made the grant possible and to the FAA for investing in the future of our community.
